This issue of the Economic and Social Indicators presents Environment-Economic Accounts for Mauritius during the period 2002 to 2009. The Environment-Economic Accounts (EEA) is a set of statistical accounts showing the interaction between the economy and the environment. Integrating these two permits investigation and analysis of sustainability in the patterns of production and consumption and the economic consequences of maintaining given environmental standards.
