This Update 2 report is a follow up to the 2018 Update 1 report “Assessment of biodiversity accounting approaches for businesses and financial institutions”. These annual updates reflect evolutions in the development of biodiversity assessment approaches for businesses and financial institutions.This year`s content is largely inspired by the joint work of the EU B@B Platform and the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) under the Aligning Biodiversity Measures for Business (ABMB) Initiative, which aims to achieve common ground between biodiversity tools for business.
