An assessment to identify a way forward for environment statistics and environmental-economic accounting in the Republic of Palau was published in August 2017. The assessment report identifies priorities for producing environmental statistics in the Republic of Palau, particularly through the System of Environment-Economic Accounting (SEEA). ESCAP Pacific Office provided technical support to the Republic of Palau’s Office of Planning and Statistics, Ministry of Finance, to prepare the assessment report.
