This bulletin contains ecosystem accounts for three of the eight broad habitats found in the UK. They form part of UK natural capital accounts being developed by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and Office for National Statistics (ONS). Farmland, freshwater and woodland ecosystem accounts were previously published in individual releases. Natural capital accounts for freshwater, farmland and woodland have been developed with categories not previously included. Methodology is experimental and some services are not currently measured.
