Experimental Environmental-Economic Accounts for the Great Barrier Reef, 2017

The Great Barrier Reef is a globally significant area located in the Coral Sea off the coast of Australia. It extends for more than 2,300 kilometres along the north-eastern coast near the Australian state of Queensland. It is the world’s largest coral reef ecosystem and is listed on the register of World Heritage sites. The terrestrial and marine ecosystems provide a number of benefits to humans through the generation and use of ecosystem services.
