Key findings and results from the report: Managing coasts with natural solutions: Guidelines for measuring and valuing the coastal protection services of mangroves and coral reefs will be presented by authors Dr. Glenn Marie Lange, WAVES Chief Technical Advisor, and Dr. Michael Beck, Lead Marine Scientist, The Nature Conservancy.

There will also be a panel discussion on how to operationalize the guidelines with Sofia Bettencourt, Lead Adaptation Specialist, Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery, World Bank; Prof. Iñigo Losada, Director of Research, Environmental Hydraulics Institute of Cantabria; and Guillermo Franco, Global Head of Catastrophe Research, Guy Carpenter Co. Carter Ingram, Wildlife Conservation Society, will serve as the panel moderator.

There will be an open discussion with the audience following.
